Taxi Insurance Refer a Friend – Terms & Conditions

 

  1. You must hold a valid Taxi Insurance Policy with Collingwood at the time the referred policy is purchased.

 

  1. The referred customer must be a new Taxi Driver Insurance customer and must not already hold an active Taxi Driver Insurance policy with CISL.

 

  1. The referral scheme is intended for personal use and genuine recommendations only.

 

  1. Customers may not refer themselves, purchase cover in another person’s name for their own benefit, or otherwise attempt to obtain rewards through self-referral.

 

  1. The referrer must not provide personal information about another individual to CISL without their consent. The referral code may be shared by the referrer but no personal information relating to the referred individual should be submitted until that individual contacts CISL directly.

 

  1. CISL reserves the right to amend, suspend or withdraw this promotion at any time where it is reasonable to do so.

 

  1. Eligible vouchers will normally be issued within 90 days of the referred policy meeting the eligibility requirements.

 

  1. The referred customer does not receive a reward under this promotion. Rewards are payable only to the referrer who meets the eligibility criteria

 

  1. There is no limit on the number of people you can refer to Collingwood Insurance Services (UK) Ltd “CISL”.

 

  1. By providing your unique referral code to people, you have chosen to participate in the promotion and be bound by these terms.

 

  1. The person(s) you refer to CISL must give Collingwood your unique code when completing the quotation.

 

  1. Annual Taxi Insurance referred policies must be active for a minimum of 14 days for the referrer to qualify for a reward.

 

  1. Any annual policies cancelled or voided within the first 14 days are not eligible for the High Street voucher.

 

  1. The voucher will be emailed to the email address on the referrer’s account. CISL will not be held responsible for an incorrect email address being held on your account.

 

  1. The referral code must not be used or advertised on coupon/deal websites, on any other websites, search engines or on CISL’s social media sites.

 

  1. CISL reserves the right to withhold, cancel or reclaim any reward where it reasonably suspects fraudulent activity, abuse of the promotion, self-referrals, bulk referrals, or any activity inconsistent with the purpose of the Refer a Friend scheme.

 

  1. For misuse and/or if your policy is voided your Unique Referral Code will be terminated.

 

  1. CISL reserve the right to terminate any Unique Referral Codes without notice and without reason.

 

  1. The person(s) the referrer refer to Collingwood has the option to purchase a short term or annual Taxi Driver policy. For short-term policies, the referrer will receive a £20 High Street voucher. For annual policies, the referrer will receive a £50 High Street voucher.

 

  1. The voucher(s) must be redeemed within 90 days from date of issue.

 

  1. A unique Refer a Friend discount code cannot be used in conjunction with any other offers or referral codes.

 

  1. CISL will not be liable for any circumstances beyond its reasonable control that prevent the voucher(s) from being issued.

 

  1. CISL excludes liability to the extent permitted by law for any cost, claims or losses howsoever caused that arise by reason of any person’s entry for the voucher(s) or the award, or non-award, to them of a prize/voucher.

 

  1. In the event of any error, whether printing, technological or otherwise, which affects the promotion in any way, CISL reserve the right to administer the promotion as though the error had not occurred.

 

  1. If you are unable to take up or use the voucher(s) CISL shall not have any liability in such eventuality.

 

  1. CISL may at its sole discretion, substitute the voucher(s) for a voucher of a similar nature and/or comparable value. Therefore the voucher issuer (currently Giftcloud) may change at any time.

 

  1. You may not request and are not entitled to a cash alternative to the voucher(s) and the voucher(s) are non-refundable and non-transferable.

 

  1. The unique referral code will automatically expire; at the end date of the promotion, after you cancel your Taxi Driver policy, or when your policy lapses/expires, whichever occurs first.

 

  1. By providing your referral code to other people, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.

 

  1. The promotion is run by Collingwood Insurance Services (UK) Ltd, Collingwood House, Earl Grey Way, North Shields, Tyne & Wear, NE29 6AR.

 

  1. The Refer a Friend promotion will run until 31st December 2026.
